Enable and Show Scanning

Assumes video multiplexer is installed and you are in Video Mode.

We will scan 2 cameras, and display the results.

Select menu item, Settings, Multiple Camera Scanning, Scan Settings, put a check mark beside Camera 0, and Camera 1, and uncheck the rest of the rest of the cameras. Enter Frames Min=5, and Frames Max=10 for both cameras 0 and 1. Set, On Switch Skip Frames=2 ( or a larger value if you get video switching noise). Click OK.

Select menu item, Settings, Multiple Camera Scanning, Scan Settings, Enable Scanning - so there is a check mark beside it.

Select menu item, Settings, Multiple Camera Scanning, Scan Settings, Enable All Cameras Window - so there is a check mark beside it.

Select menu item, Monitor, Enable Capture to File.

Select menu item, Monitor, Enable Beep on Detection.

Select menu item, Monitor, Start Monitor.

Result:

The left part of the Video Monitoring Software window switches video being displayed between camera 0, and camera 1 inputs.

A, Show All Cameras Window, pops up showing video from camera 0 and camera 1 at the same time. Wave your hand in front of the camera - each camera window which detects motion flashes a red square around the window to alert you it detected motion. Also the results are being captured to file.

Exit scanning.

Select menu item, Monitor Stop. Uncheck menu item Enable Capture, and Enable Beep on Detection. Uncheck Enable Scanning, and Enable All Camera Windows.

Note:

To scan all cameras one would put a check mark beside cameras 0 to 7 in the Scan Settings window dialog above.
