First lets check if Capture is enabled, then lets enable it.
Go to "Video Monitoring Software: Program Administration Page". (To get here go to Video Monitoring Software:Home Page - Log On, Video Monitoring Software:Main Page - Administration Functions.)
From the "Video Monitoring Software: Program Administration Page", click "Get
Video Monitoring Software Program Status". From the returned status web page, read down to the
line "Captured Enabled = ..." .
If Capture Enabled=0 means false, capture is not enable. If Capture Enabled=1,
means true, capture is enabled. Assume Capture Enabled=0 for sake of example, so
lets change it to 1.
Go back to the "Video Monitoring Software: Program Administration Page", go to near the middle of the page, and beside, "Enable Capture" input 1, and click the "enter" button. (1 means yes enable, 0 means no disabled.)
(Also make sure that, Activate Alarms and
Capture, has been set.)
Go back to "Video Monitoring Software: Program Administration Page" , find the command "Save Program Configuration", and click it.
Result:
Captured is enabled, so that video will be stored to file if motion is detected.
ATTENTION:
You should check the program status above, and set Capture to enabled as shown
above, before logging off, in order for Monitoring to take place when you are
away.
