After the Video Surveillance WebCam Software is installed and running one needs to configure the program based on the hardware using and the features one wants to use. One can setup a basic configuration for recording and monitoring, and later do advanced configuration of features like live video streaming, files streaming, and alarms.

There are two ways to do the basic configuration:

(a) click on menu item or button, Quick Config, in the Video Surveillance WebCam Software, and follow the steps displayed.

or

(b) Manually configure the Program as follows:

  1. Select Video Driver - select the driver for your video capture device. You may have to use Video Source to further specify which driver to use.
  2. Settings, Global Settings, put check mark beside, Program Sets Format, and Program Sets Compression, and choose your Language Settings, click OK.
