Video Format Menu Location: Settings - Video Audio Configuration Is used to change the image size and format that Video Surveillance WebCam Software will use. Select video formats of RGB32 or RGB24 since they are best. Other formats are also supported. Select image sizes of 320x240 or 160x120 are best since they make the program run faster, use less disk space, and smaller quicker files to transfer over the internet. Program can automatically select the video format when the program starts up, if there is a check mark beside Program Sets Format under menu item Global Settings. After select format, do Save Configuration. One can disable Program Sets Format at startup with the command line option monitor.exe /f in case setting the format hangs the a driver. To disable program from automatically setting the format remove check mark beside Program Sets Format in Global Settings. If a computer does not have enough memory, larger image sizes may not work.Then use smaller image sizes. |
