Program Status

Menu Location: Settings - Status

Displays a dialog list about the Video Surveillance WebCam Software status. Not about other programs like the Web Server Program or Stream File Program.

In the status dialog window, some items have the following meaning.

C0, C1 etc is short form for Camera 0, Camera 1 etc.

Remote Requests: are number of remote commands received by the Video Surveillance WebCam Software.

Global Brightness: brightness used for all cameras if  Separate Camera Brightness is not enabled.

Video Frames Saved: number of video frames saved from each camera during a monitoring or recording session independent of the number of files they are saved in.

Total Alarms: alarms conditions per camera eg in a Alarm Polling Time of 15 seconds, 5 or more frames had motion detection in them.

Detection Sounds: number video frames signaled by a sound that had motion detection in them, reported on a per camera basis.

Total Sound Alarms: total number of Sound Alarms played through the computer speakers. One sound alarm can consist one alarm condition on just one camera. Or one sound alarm can consist alarm conditions on multiple cameras at the same time.

Email Alarms Sent: number of email alarms sent. One email alarm can consist one alarm condition on just one camera. Or one email alarm can consist alarm conditions on multiple cameras at the same time.

Total Video Frames Captured: video frames captured for all cameras since the program was started.

Audio Buffer: is about 1 second of audio data.

 

Program status is also available from the remote user interface.
