Schedule Configurations

Menu Location: Settings - Schedule Configurations

Allows the user to automatically change the configuration of the Video Surveillance WebCam Software during specific times of the day. For example during the day time use Program Configuration File 0, and night time use Program Configuration File 1. One can have up to 10 Program Configuration Files. Though 4 time slots to load them.

You can know which Program Configuration File the program is currently using, since it is displayed in the Monitor Control Window, below the the Save Configuration button. Also at what time it was loaded by status line "Config Loaded" in the Monitor Control Window bottom right side. Use Program Status, under section Configuration By Timer to review all the scheduled configuration information.

Use menu item or button Save Configuration to save the main Program Configuration File  Monitor0.cfg which is used always during program startup.

Use parameter, Save as Config File Number, under menu item Configuration By Timer, to create new Program Configuration Files or save new Program Configuration Files to file ie as file names Monitor1.cfg to Monitor10.cfg.

If Program Configuration File 1 to 10 is currently loaded into the Video Surveillance WebCam Software, you will get error if you try to save that Program Configuration File with  menu item or button Save Configuration, since it is intended only to save the main Program Configuration File Monitor0.cfg. Use parameter, Save as Config File Number, under menu item Configuration By Timer instead.

To Make Program Configuration Files

To make a new Program Configuration File, use the program's menu items to change the program settings to what you want, then save the new Program Configuration File with Save as Config File Number. To test the new Program Configuration File  use Load Config File Now.

Verify Startup Mode is mode you want to run under when the new Program Configuration File is loaded. Adjust the camera brightness if necessary. Then Save as Config File Number.

Load the program startup configuration ie File Number 0, and set the Time Slot, for the Day, Time, and File Number to load eg every day, the night time settings for 6 pm = 18, File Number 1. Usually you will set a second Time Slot to return to the original Program Configuration File eg every day,  the day time settings at 7 am = 7, File Number 0. Place a check mark beside Enable Configuration By Timer. Then do Save Configuration.
